Nicaragua’s Volcanoes – And Corona Hits the Trip

Along Nicaragua’s western part. Some volcanoes to sneak around. Then traveling around is getting more complicated. Corona starts to hit Central America. Everything starts to close down. We quickly leave Nicaragua for Costa Rica, prepare our early departure and we’re on the way to Swizzyland. To wait for the end of this mess.

Belize – Very Different

After 2 months in Mexico we enter a world pretty different: Belize. Anglophone, still many curiosities only found in British ex-colonies. Despite rather rainy weather a journey thru Belize’s small towns, villages and to the beach.

Navidad in a Few Days – Yucatan’s West

Just a few days and this year’s X-Max is on the honorable heap of history. We’re on our way thru Yucatan’s flatland. Beautiful Campeche, touristy Uxmal Maya ruins, slightly disappointing Merida. And some more adventures, including some socializing with the all-beloved police.

On to Oaxaca’n’Chiapas

South of Mexico City everything changes a little bit. Towns are less dandified, the landscape wilder, even people are different. A trip to Oaxaca, the Pacific Coast and finally to San Cristobal in Chiapas.

Ciudad de Mexico

Prado stays in pensione in Tula. We convert into backpackers, drive to Mexico City to explore the town. 31/2 days sightseeing. Then back to Tula.

El Dia de los Muertos, Mazatlán
