Our last days on Aotearoa’s North Island. From New Plymouth to Auckland. Then on for a 2-day stopover in Singapore before heading back to Swizzyland.
Bye-bye summer, hi autumn. Still the trip continues, thru the geothermal parks near Rotorua, the Art Deco capital Napier, and on to the west coast’s port of New Plymouth.
The last days on South Island, a short flight to Auckland, and along the Coromandel Peninsula to Tongariro for 1 of the world’s most spectacular hikes.
Our journey thru New Zealand’s South Island continues. Now the northern part – Kaikoura – Abel Tasman NP, Nelson, and back to the west coast, to Punakaiki.
From bustling Queenstown to the remote West Coast and on to Christchurch. Some nice hikes, a beautiful flight over the mountains, and thru landscapes where next to nobody lives.
Our trip from Duenedin along the Catlins to Stewart Island and on to New Zealand’s Fiordland.

We felt like we were on planes more than anywhere else on our way from Manila to Papeete with a few days in Hong Kong and Macao.
Our journey from Dumaguete to Bantayan Island north of Cebu. Then on to Manila. A town neglected by many travellers. We think wrongly.
Our journey continues to Bohol and Siquijor to finally reach Dumaguete on Negros Island during the end-of-year festivities, when every Filipino has to see their family. A mix of crowded tourist hotspots and nearly deserted places.
Palawan, said to be the most beautiful island of the Philippines, then on to Cebu and Bohol in the Visayas. A journey a bit affected by amazing overtourism in certain areas.
From Swizzyland’s harsh winter to the hot’n’humid Philippines. A month later than planed – bullshit happens. After a short stop in Manila, it’s on to Busuanga Island for sun, sea’n’snorkeling. What else could it be.
